BREEDE RIVER VALLEY

The Breede River Valley is a peaceful haven of lush vineyards, fruit orchids and winding rivers. The Romans River Reserve in this area protects the endangered geometric tortoise. The 400-hectare Bergsig Wine Estate is also in this valley, and is one of the largest in the country.
