The Eastern Highlands offers an entirely different experience from walking in the game parks - mountain walks and hikes amidst cool, montane evergreen forest, conifers and wattle, spectacular waterfalls and rugged cliffs, relaxing trout fishing and welcome evening log fires. Nyanga and Chimanimani are the best areas for climbing.
