TSITSIKAMMA NATIONAL PARK

The Tsitsikamma National Park lies in the heart of the Garden Route and extends 5 km out to sea. It consists of 80 km of wild and rocky coastline, with spectacular sea views and landscapes. Fynbos, evergreen forests, deep river gorges, beautiful flowers, small game, teeming bird life, and occassionally sitings of whales and dolphins off the coast all add to the attraction of the area. The park is bisected by the Storms River Gorge. There is a rest camp at the river mouth and Natures Valley. The restaurant at Storms River Mouth has a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean, the forest and the gorge.
